Christian Sports Bike Association Track/Ride Day Disclaimer
Unlike other CSBA events, track days are not run by CSBA. The events are run by the track day company, e.g. Stay Upright, Phillip Island Ride Days, Champions Ride Days, HART, etc.
CSBA offers members and their friends the opportunity to attend track day events together by scheduling dates in advance and advertising the dates through various outlets. However, each person registers and attends as an individual with the appropriate event organiser.
The track day companies have their own rules and, like all in attendance, people in the CSBA group are required by the event organisers to comply with those rules. The rules are typically set out in the rider application form and the rider briefing at the start of the day. Track days also come under the auspices of Motorcycling Australia (MA) and riders are required to have an MA license (competition, recreational or one-off day license) or a valid Australian drivers license. Both MA and the event organisers monitor the event and will take action to control inappropriate rider behaviour.
CSBA has a visible ongoing presence at the track. Therefore, while not responsible for the event as a whole, the CSBA Track Day Coordinator and/or CSBA representative present, will monitor the conduct of the group and, if necessary, act to address inappropriate behaviour by any members of the group.
However, CSBA accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury or damage that occurs during the event, whether or not it was caused by or resulted from the actions of a person attending as part of the CSBA group.
